Sol. The use of ‘for’ is superfluous in the sentence. Await= wait for.

So no need to write for with await.

Sol. Use of ‘on’ is incorrect in this sentence, ‘in’ is suitable.



S4.Ans.(B)

Sol. ‘were’ is correct in place of ‘was’. With Neither……nor…if two subjects are given then verb will be according to nearer subject.



S5.Ans.(B)

Sol. In place of ‘informations’ use ‘information’. Information, furniture, luggage, breakage, postage etc are Uncountable noun and always used in singular form.

Sol. Unfulfilled wish/condition, Desire takes were as verb if the sentence is started with if/as if/ as though/ I wish etc.
